Nursing Staff, our family wants to thank each one of you for all the kind and loving care you gave my mom! She appreciated it so very much! She and Dad both felt like they were at home when you were caring for them during their hospital stay. Please know how very much we all appreciated the special care received – you were her Angels on this Earth! The nurses became our family and friends – every employee was so helpful! Please know how thankful we are to have our Brady hospital. Thank you all for taking such good care of her! She loved each and every one of you! We will never forget it! We send much love,

I would like to thank the medical staff at Brady hospital, specifically Keith Rockafellow and Laura Cruz for the recent care I received in the Emergency Department. I was impressed at how well the staff was able to make a tense situation better for not only me, but also my family.

Thank you Brady Emergency Department for everything you did for me and my family, the care I received was top notch!

I just wanted to take a minute to share with you an experience I had with the staff of Brady Hospital. In my life time I have been to many ERs around the world, but have never had the treatment that I received at Brady ER. On the night of December 31st 2014, my family and I were in terrible accident resulting in all of our belongings being destroyed and our vehicle totaled. We were EVACed to Brady hospital seeing that it was the closest town with immediate care. Upon arrival we were all attended to by such kind faces. I will never forget the kindness they showed us. But that night we had 2 associates take extra care of us. I am a mother of two boys who thank the Lord survived this accident without injury. Upon arrival we we met by a laboratory member by the name of Jan D., who went out of her way to provide my boys with food and coloring pages to keep them calm as my husband and myself were tended too. Jan D. then left to return home (might I add on the slick roads and terrible weather) to pick us up clothing. Not just clean clothes, but pajamas and clothing for the next day for the 4 of us. I was brought to tears by such kindness. After we were cleared to leave, a nurse by the name of Tina S. stopped by our room and provided us with car seats, and then her and her husband volunteered to take us all to the local motel. Tina and her husband drove us to multiple hotels because everyone was booked for the holiday. Tina also volunteered that if no one had room for us that we may crash in her living room. But with a last bit of luck we had left we did find a room for the night. For these women to go beyond the call of duty to take such care of us will never leave my heart nor my family. One does not think that such terrible things will happen to them, but bringing in 2015 surrounded by such amazing women replaced such a horrible night with happiness.

Thank you Brady ER for everything you did for my family. You will forever be in our hearts. I hope one day to repay your kindness.

I would like to commend you and your staff for the wonderful hospital you provide for the city of Brady. My mother spent 10 days this past week in your great facility. It was her second experience in almost a year as she was a patient last November as well.

Your ER staff is excellent and very thorough and efficient. Once Mother was admitted, she was well cared for by everyone from the nurses, to the aids, to the housekeepers and the dietary/kitchen staff as well as the physical therapist. Not one area gave our family cause for complaint.

Both stays in the hospital, you graciously allowed her Bible study ladies who come to her house each Monday to continue meeting in her hospital room. That delighted her and was such a boost to her spirits.

I called at least twice a day from Levelland and your phone staff was always very polite in putting me through to Mother. If she didn’t answer or hear the phone, they would call the nurses’ station to have them go check on her. Things like that are beyond the scope of doing their jobs and we found that to be the case in every department.

In previous years, Mother had always told us to take her to Abilene if she needed hospitalization. Now she only wants to be taken to Brady Heart of Texas Hospital. That is an endorsement that you and your staff have earned and it is well deserved.

Thank you again for your care for my mother and the reassurance I have when she is in your care since I live so many hours away.

Sincerely,

Sherry Ballew Barsch
