I chose Family Medicine because its philosophy is to treat patients as people with health issues, not simply as “diseases that come to the clinic.” In addition to treating illness, I focus on helping people stay healthy, as well as avoid complications of their diseases. I enjoy rural medicine because it allows me to also know my patients as members of the community. My wife and I enjoy the rural lifestyle and believe Brady has been a good place to raise a family. It is professionally satisfying to provide care to a population that is typically under served. I strongly believe that rural areas such as Brady and the Heart of Texas deserve quality health care.

For nearly 20 years I have had the opportunity to work in various environments and across several communities allowing me to work with many types of patients. As a specialist in Family Medicine, and most often someone’s first source for healthcare, I see and treat patients of all ages – from infants and children to adults and seniors.

While I enjoy working with and treating patients of all ages, my passion is working in adult/geriatric preventative care. Raised in Brady, I am excited to return to my hometown to bring my skills, experiences, and education back to the community that helped mold me into the person I am today. In addition to my role at Brady Medical Clinic, I am thrilled to work with HTHS to bring back the outpatient wound clinic, spearhead the inmate health program, and care for acute and long-term patients both at the hospital and nursing home.
